Steps
- Prepare the pizza dough following our Pizza Dough Recipe.
- Preheat your oven to its highest setting with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Roll out your pizza dough on a piece of parchment paper.
- Prepare the pizza sauce following our Pizza Sauce Recipe and spread it over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Distribute slices of fresh mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
- Slide the pizza (with the parchment) onto the preheated stone or baking sheet.
- Bake until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, top with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Slice and serve immediately.
